Amidst the darkness (night) there is always a light (moon).
i.e., from every sorrow, grief, failure there is always something to learn.

When the Sun sets the Moon rises & vice versa.
i.e., Happiness (Sun) is always lurking behind the sorrow (night/darkness) as the Moon, only disguised; We have to find it.

The phases of the Moon.
i.e., Every single day has something to tell, to preach, to teach, to feel;

and the last one which needs no explanation:
it gets the darkest before dawn.
