Someday – Flipsyde – they won’t do it ! February 21, 2007

It’s a clean dark sky, with the crescent moon and a beautiful girl for
company to walk u down the thin green lane.
The perfect recipe to make a romantic walk with my lady and spiced with some
beautiful talk.
It’s just then that I realize there are a few “gentlemen” on the other side
of the lane.
I catch someone’s glance and the quick flick of his eye lashes towards his
mates.
They all stop with there conversation, as if giving it a break
and on the “count of three” they all move there heads to welcome us
as hungry dogs with watery mouths and greedy eyes and stare ..
stare at my girl.
My eyes slim, preparing myself to meet those eyes
and ready to suppress any of the onslaught that only their eyes can provide.
I catch each pair of eyes and stare until it looks down,
until it understands that it no longer can look this way,
until they realize that they need to continue from where they left behind.
Our walk and the romantic talk continues as soon as we pass them by,
They continue their conversation but only until they see another couple pass by.

What can one learn from the Moon February 21, 2007

Amidst the darkness (night) there is always a light (moon).
i.e., from every sorrow, grief, failure there is always something to learn.
When the Sun sets the Moon rises & vice versa.
i.e., Happiness (Sun) is always lurking behind the sorrow (night/darkness) as the Moon, only disguised; We have to find it.
The phases of the Moon.
i.e., Every single day has something to tell, to preach, to teach, to feel;
and the last one which needs no explanation:
it gets the darkest before dawn.

Solving problems February 11, 2007

“Usually I let problems or other thoughts go around and around in my head, but there’s something therapeutic about writing them out. Committing them to paper seems to capture the thoughts so you don’t have to chase after them anymore, leaving you with energy to reflect upon them more deeply – allowing you to be honest with yourself. “

Love – I know you do February 11, 2007

It’s not that Love (in the form of a soul mate) has eluded me; I have always found Love in some nook and corner of life either in the form of parental love or love through friends or ‘natural love’ which is love in the first breath that you take once you awake from your deepest slumber or the love in the chirping birds or love from the warmth of a born fire or love from a good breakfast. This is Love for me. Yes, it’s beautiful..
Talking to your conscience is also a form of finding and sharing love which presently only a handful of people find the time to practice. It is the best way to solve many of life’s questions, beat stress and loneliness. It helps in discovering your hidden talents, uncovering your dreams and also enables you to talk to the various parts of your body because even they need time, attention and importance because only when you start loving yourself will you start loving the world around you.
So start loving yourself; everything about you, whether its your hair, your nose, eyes, your height or your weight… love it because it’s ‘YOU’. When you start loving yourself only then will you be able to recieve the various sources of love.
or your weight… love it because it’s ‘YOU’. When you start loving yourself only then will you be able to recieve the various sources of love.

I have always linked Humans to Global Warming eversince I understood what it was, but never expected livestock and cattle also to be active contributors to global warming !
A few facts listed below will make things clearer to you:
- The world’s 1,530 million cattle contribute more to global warming than its 900 million cars and commercial vehicles.
- The gas from livestock flatulence and manure is now estimated to contribute to 27 per cent of global warming
- The high methane content is reported to be 23 times more “warming” than carbon dioxide.
- The urine has high concentrations of ammonia that contributes to acid rain.
- 900 litres of water is required to produce one litre of milk.
- India accounts for over 18 per cent of the worlds cattle, i.e approximately 5 per cent of the global warming is caused by the Indian livestock.
